Does Going To College Really Matter Anymore?

It is being said that post-Millennials, now 6 to 21, are on track to becoming the most educated generation by far. Before this, similar things were said about Millennials. Now, this makes sense because we are in the age of information and we know a lot more things than people knew 50 years ago. With the improvements in technology and information, post-Millennials also have access to learn from some of the most brilliant minds of the previous generations, either through traditional school settings or by a simple Google search. So, with being able to access a world of information at the click of a button, is going to university worth it in 2020?

Well, there are definitely some major benefits to going to university, or at least that’s what they say. One of these benefits is the unique social experience that college offers. Persons usually want to go out of their comfort zones, see new cities, meet new people, join sororities and fraternities, buy fake IDs so they can get drunk with their friends, and participate in many other (non-academic) activities.
